The Tayrona National Park is located in the Caribbean Region in Colombia.Su surface is part of the department of Magdalena.
It is one of the most important natural parks of Colombia. It is habitat for a large number of species distributed in regions with different climatic zones ranging from sea level to heights of 900 m, of the 15,000 hectares that make up the park, 3,000 are marine area.
In the area of the park are archaeological ruins that indicate the existence of human settlements in the Tayronaque tribe occupied the region since pre-Columbian times until well into the colonization.
It is considered one of the most important ecological reserves in South America, has great natural beauty and abundant flora and fauna, has pristine beaches, archaeological sites, waterfalls and streams.
